The wheel (along with all other wheels and other unlocked bike parts in our apartment backyard) was stolen! I strongly suspect the neighbourhood bike shop to whom I'll have to go running back again to buy another wheel.

Ofcourse, my bike's wheel was not stolen. Looks like i have some influence in this neighborhood

my flatmates wheels (yep, both of them) got lifted from inside the building.
at least they left the seat behind :-)

Most people who lock only a wheel to the stand usually find just that wheel locked to the stand the next day, without the rest of the bike. Luckily I lock both the wheel and the frame together, but was too lazy to lock the front wheel as well.. ;)

We keep our bikes in the common living area or the balcony, that way we don't even have to lock it.
