Wow! This summer looks exciting! I'll get to watch Tool, Victor Wooten, The Police, Rush, Dream Theater and Symphony X!

Yay!! For once, I am being mrinal's patner in crime in wathing all these bands live!

For the uninformed lot, the subject being me arriving late and hence missing a part of Paul Gilbert's performance at G3 with Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert and John Petrucci.

This performance can be added to our Spring list. For those willing to feel envious :p

whoa dude! Victor Wooten and Symphony X, I want to see them both!!! I saw DT in Chicago ... they were mind blowing ... Mike Portnoy invited Anthrax's drummer to his jungle (read Drumkit; there were 2 drumkits on stage, both double bass) and they both played some classic drum licks (like Slayer's Raining Blood etc) together. It was just too much :) The Police came to DC recently but I was not too keen on going ...

Symphony X is doing a US tour in Jun/Jul, I'm sure you'll be able to catch them! Are you in Chicago or DC?

I'm in DC ... suburbs of DC actually. If they play in this area, it will mostly be in Jaxx, i'll keep checking, thanks!
